Indonesia Exports Coffee to Australia Worth 1.34 Billion
LiputanIslam.com— Indonesia exported 16.65 tons of Java Preanger Jabarano Arabica coffee to Australia valued at Rp 1.34 billion. This coffee export was carried out by CV Frinsa Agrolestari in Bandung, West Java.
The Director-General of National Export Development at the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag), Kasan, said that Kemendag supported the development of coffee export to the international market.
“The momentum of releasing the export of value-added products is a concrete form of the government and businessmen to continue to strive to maintain the trade balance,” Kasan said on Sunday (11/10).
He conveyed that Kemendag appreciated CV Frinsa Agrolestari for supporting and promoting the welfare of partner coffee farmers in West Java. This year, CV Frinsa Agrolestari also received an export contract of 5 containers to the United States, 2 containers to Belgium, and 1 container to Russia.
He encouraged businessmen to continue to innovate and take advantage of market opportunities both within the country and overseas.
The Director of Export Product Development (PPE) of the Ministry of Trade, Olvy Andrianita, revealed that Kemendag will continue to facilitate exporters through trade representatives in various countries.
“Kemendag will continue to support businessmen to increase their exports,” she revealed.
She hoped that good synergy will continue to be established so as to increase exports and move the wheels of the economy and trade. (sh/kompas/tempo)
